After an eighteen-year career as a professional violinist, I have turned to my other passions of art and writing.
Cilla Hocking: Illustrator
In my illustrating, I enjoy combining media such as watercolour, acrylic paint, oil and soft pastel and pencil with digital work on Procreate.
In my writing and art for children, I like to explore subject matter and themes relating to animals and the environment, neurodiversity and mental health, and to promote a love of music and the arts.
Piggy Tales
In 2024, UK authors Gillian and Ryan Butler published ‘Piggy Tales,’ which I had the pleasure of illustrating. It is 88 pages with colour illustrations throughout.
I have some other exciting illustration projects in the pipelines and look forward to sharing them in the future.
